WNED and ThinkBright & Well have partnered with the American Red Cross, Greater Buffalo Chapter, to create Life Journeys – Solutions for Caregivers, a high impact, television and outreach initiative. Our goal is to educate and support families responsible for the care of a sick or aging loved one. Included in this initiative is a Life Journeys Television Series, Life Journeys Television Awareness Spots, and a Life Journeys Companion Web Site at www.ThinkBright.org.

Western New York Association of Homes and Services for the Aging is a membership organization consisting of over 70 not-for-profit senior care providers. Its members include nursing facilities, assisted living, senior housing and community health service providers that include home health care, rehabilitation, dementia care, respite and other special services for the elderly. The association provides a "Community Guide to Senior Care" for caregivers wishing to learn more about long-term care services, and serves as a resource for individuals and community groups.
